The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PCCSM) at UTMB invites applications for tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant and/or Associate Professor level. Applicants with a Master’s degree in public health, clinical science or a related field is preferred. Individuals with research interests and experience in outcomes research or implementation sciences are of particular interest. UTMB Health is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases, and through our clinical, educational, and research missions. We provide comprehensive diagnosis and management for a broad range of respiratory diseases, offer outstanding clinical care for patients with respiratory disorders, and serve as a resource to regional physicians who share in the care of patients with respiratory diseases. We offer comprehensive outpatient services throughout the area. Our three sleep laboratories are located on the Galveston and Angleton Danbury campuses, with another convenient center in Webster.
PCCSM Candidate Requirements - must possess an MD or equivalent degree and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonary and/or Critical Care medicine. The selected candidate must also be able to obtain an unrestricted State of Texas Medical license. The successful candidates will have an established interest in health services research, a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, and a desire to compete for extramural funding.
